modular beneficiando da simplicidade das uniões da via Tomix.

connecting system of Tomix track.
Esta ideia de uma cena de Inverno,
a paisagem coberta de neve, anda na minha cabeça há muito. Escolhi outra vez a
localização no Japão rural, numa zona montanhosa onde se vive da indústria
madeireira. Baseei-me em Kiso e na linha de Numajiri. Acho o material rolante
muito interessante e estou a adquirir alguns kits em latão de automotoras.
The idea of a winter scene, everything covered
in snow is in my mind for a while. I chose again the location in rural Japan,
setting the scene in a mountainous area living from the logging industry. I
got inspiration in Kiso and the Numajiri line. I find the rolling stock very
interesting and am buying some brass kits.
O veículo castanho é em plástico fabricado RTR pela Tsugawa. Não está motorizado, embora lhe chamem trailer. Os outros em azul e branco são kits em latão da World Craft.
The brown vehicle is in plastic RTR made by Tsugawa. It is without motor, they call it a trailer.
The other two in blue and white are World Craft brass kits.
É uma maqueta muito simplificada
para me conter nas dimensões. As estações da linha de Kiso e de Numajiri (acho
que é tudo o mesmo, a julgar pelas fotos que tenho coligido) são bem maiores e
com mais linhas.
It is a very simplified layout for containment
of the measures. Kiso and Numajiri have much more elaborate stations.

A operação é simples, a desculpa
é o Inverno, quando o ritmo de trabalho abranda. Haverá serviço de passageiros
com automotoras várias vezes ao dia, uma máquina a vapor está em standby que
poderá fazer alguns serviços. Um tractor a diesel a servir a serração. Algumas
composições mistas com mercadorias para descarregar no armazém. Operação de
limpa-neves que receio, terei de fazer em scratch.
Ainda não me decidi pelo uso de
via Tomix ou Peco H0e. A primeira monta-se num instante e o facto de ser em N
não me parece problemática porque os carris estarão cobertos de neve. A via
Peco fica mais económica e permite um traçado mais natural. Acho que o factor
decisivo vai ser o comprimento das agulhas em Y. Quais delas representam um
ganho de espaço significativo?
The operation is also simple; the excuse being
the winter, when I believe the work slows down a little. There will be railcars
several times a day, a standby steam locomotive that can perform some services,
movements of raw material to the saw mill, some mixed trains bringing freight
to the warehouse. The operation of a snow plows that I might have to scratch
build. I
haven’t decided yet which track to use. Tomix n scale is interesting as it
assembles fast and will make easy the connection to the staging yard. Peco H0e
is cheaper and allows for more natural curves. I feel that what might decide my
choice will be the length of the Y turnouts in order to spare space.
Como tenho projectos à frente
deste, por enquanto vou-me entretendo com esquissos que me ajudam a ter uma
visão de conjunto e resolver alguns detalhes.
Não estou entusiasmado com
maquetas em módulos, mas como a parte com cenário mede 1,50m tenho de separar a
gare fantasma para facilitar o transporte e a arrumação. Talvez se limite a simples cassetes.
Since I have several WIP, for the moment I just
do some sketches to help me visualize the overall and some minor details.
I’m not in a mood for a modular construction,
but when I have for the scenic part 1.50m I have to separate the staging yard
that might be just a simple cassette system.
Date of construction? I haven’t the slightest
idea; I enjoy the fun of designing layouts. It isn’t the same as building them
as you’ll have no chance to check if your ideas work, but nevertheless it is
entertaining
Estou com vontade de construir de
raiz a estação para poder fazê-la em corte, mostrando o interior. Não sei se
vou por aí ou por uma solução mais cómoda, a de usar um kit já disponível.
I’m thinking of building a station revealing
the interior. It would look great, but it might be a lot of trouble. I’m still undecided about that.

ResponderEliminarObrigado pelos comentários. Como sempre comigo, não é a falta de tempo, mas o tempo que passa sem eu dar por ele.
Os esquissos ajudam muito a visualizar a cena e estudar qual a melhor disposição dos elementos. Poderia fazê-lo em 3D, mas prefiro o esboço à mão, tem mais "calor". Desta vez vou ensaiar também a amqueta da maqueta. Isto é, fazer em cartão um versão básica dos volumes para estudar as proporções e relações entre si. Nada de inovador, há muitos modelistas a fazê-lo.
